Dave Cox is a “”well talented” Bouzouki player who glues the DaiBach together with strong rythmes.   He plays other stringed instruments of course including the guitar and is a powerful percussionist who uses the traditional bodhran (a drum played with one stick in Irish / Celtic traditional music) and in addition, can play the most amazing solos on a traditional military side drum.
His daughter Meg Cox takes after him of course and is the youngest member of the band.   She was aged 6 and scored 80% when she first competed in the under 12’s category of Bodhran Player in the All Britain Fleadh 2007 in Preston.  ("Fleadh" is a traditional Irish music competition and is pronounce "Fesh").   Meg is now 7 and came 2nd (Silver Medal) in the regional Fleadh in Birmingham.
